Tabletop Puppets Acting Workshop presented by Dream Tale Puppets

Jacek Zuzanski of Dream Tale Puppets invites actors and theatre lovers to the Tabletop Puppets
Acting Workshop for grown-ups (ages 15 and up)

The class will be offered at the Osterville Village Library

Sunday October 25, 2026, 12:00 pm – 3 pm.

The workshop will introduce participants to the art of bringing an object to life and transforming
it into a stage character. Participants will learn the principles and acting techniques used in
Dream Tale Puppets' tabletop puppet performances while trying out new approaches to actor-
puppeteer training and creative practice. Puppetry acting will be at the center, but we will also
explore live acting in relationship with puppetry.
The experience may be especially appealing to actors, teachers, artists, and anyone who enjoys
role-playing, fantasy, and creative self-expression. The workshop builds on the experiences and
explorations of earlier sessions, including those described on the Dream Tale Puppets blog:

Why Learn Acting with Tabletop Puppets

Puppets will be
provided. After the workshop, participants’ help in clearing the room and resetting the tables will
be appreciated.
