Notary Services Guidelines

Fee: $5.00 donation to library

1. Schedule an Appointment
   • Notary services are available during normal business hours when the notary is available.

2. Provide Valid Identification
   • Bring a valid, government-issued photo ID.
   • Acceptable IDs include state-issued ID cards, driver’s licenses, passports, or other government-issued photo IDs.
   • Ensure the name on your ID matches the name on the document(s) to be notarized.

3. Prepare Your Documents
   • Do not sign or date the document(s) before your appointment.
   • Ensure the document(s) are complete and ready for notarization.
   • Include an appropriate Notarial Statement or Clause in the document(s). If not included, the Notary will attach one.
   • Note that documents written in languages other than English will not be notarized.
